Didn't come out quite the way I wanted, but ah well. For all my Israeli watchers and all Israeli members of deviantart. And for Israel in general :D Happy 60th Birthday, Israel - still alive and kickin'.

The Hebrew phrase to the left of the soldier means, "Alive! Alive! Alive! Yes I am alive!" I got it from an Ofra Haza song.

There will no doubt be some flack thrown my way for this, but ah well.

Drawn traditionally, scanned, inked in Manga Studio, then colored in Photoshop.

Probably comes from my experience in a military family. That and I studied Israeli military history at a young age, so I saw the more human side of Israeli soldiers :)

Isareli soldiers are just poor cowards and silly pussies !

We see them on tv everyday being afraid of a stone throne by a 3 year-old boy.

Israel will not last there for ever... the day will come where all the jew will be hunted out of the holy land.

Just be patient.
