In memory of Arthur C. Clarke, who died only too recently. He was a proficient science fiction writer most of his life, famous for books such as 2001: A Space Odyssey.
His passing is a personal one for me, because he was a deep part of my childhood. I was an avid sci-fi reader, and I read through many of his books. For many he made sci-fi a possible dream, and gave us great worlds and hope for the future without killer aliens or giant blob monsters. Even those books of his that many might consider mediocre I found a great read.
In memory of Arthur C. Clarke. He's now in a place where nothing is unknown and everything is a possibility
Perhaps someday one of us drinks a glass of water containing an atom that once used to be a part Arthur C. Clarke's body. Hopefully the rest of them will find a better use...
